Kanisa la Biblia Publishers is the publishing house and literature department of Kanisa la\nBiblia Tanzania (Evangelical Brethren Church in Tanzania).\nKLB Publishers is a publishing house with nearly 70 titles in print and also a bookshop with\nover 900 books, Bibles, Songbooks, CDs and picture material from KLB and other publishers.\nThe Swahili name (Church of the Bible) is also a program for the mission statement of the\npublishing house: Providing literature for the lay people within the Swahili speaking world, so\nthat they are able to read, understand and teach what they have learned from the Bible and\napply it to their lives.\nVision:\n\u201cWe want to prepare and to make literature available, which gives the readers insight and\ndeeper understanding of the Bible.\u201d\nMission:\n\u201cKanisa la Biblia Publishers aims to grow understanding of the Bible in East and Central\nAfrica through affordable Christian Literature distribution which helps to understand the\nScriptures (Bible) for personal benefit in order to (a) grow spiritually, (b) teach others and (c)\nto empower leaders for church growth.\u201d\n\nA Short History of the publishing house \u201cKanisa la Biblia Publishers\u201d\n1980 The first books \u201cPanorama ya Biblia\u201c and \u201cImani yetu Ndiyo Ushindi\u201c have been\npublished in Tunduru in Ruvuma Region, Southern Tanzania and printed with Nusch-Druck\nGummersbach in Germany.\n1983 The Songbook \u201cNyimbo za Wakristo\u201d in red plastic cover was published for Kanisa\nla Biblia.\n1986-1990 The next big project by Helmut Gr\u00e4f was the translation of \u201cAgano Jipya\nLasema\u201d (The New Testament Speaks,) a series of 5 books by Donald Fleming, which later\nincreased together with the 10 volume series \u201cAgano la Kale Lasema\u201d (The Old Testmant\nSpeaks) to a full commentary in 15 volumes.\n1988 The Series Mafundisho ya Msingi Wa Imani was published with 5 booklets: (1)\nBiblia ya Mkristo, (2) Ulimwengu wa Mkristo, (3) Maisha ya Mkristo, (4) Imani ya\nMkristo, (5) Mungu wa Mkristo (Basic Christian Teaching by Don Fleming). All 5 booklets\nare available as e-download from our website.\n1991 Helmut Gr\u00e4f started building the Literature Distribution Centre in Dodoma,\nfinished 1993 and therefore Kanisa la Biblia Publishers could move its distribution centre to\nDodoma, the capital city of Tanzania. Books with good content are made available in our\nshowroom for local customers. We have a warehouse with Bibles, Evangelistic booklets\n(Lifewords) and flyers, Children\u2019s books and biblical books for the ministry.\n1992-1995 Translation of the \u201cKamusi ya Biblia\u201d (Bridge Bible Dictionary by Donald\nFleming).\n2000 W. MacDonald\u2019s \u201cMtumishi mwaminifu wa Yesu\u201d (True Discipleship).\n\n2000 This first one volume Swahili Bible Commentary \u201cBiblia Inasema\u201d (The Bridge\nBible Commentary) published in Dodoma.\n2003 Another big step was the translation of Erich Sauers a book on Salvation History in\none book called \u201cUfunuo wa Mungu na Itikio la Imani\u201d (from English \u201cThe Dawn of\nWorld Redemption\u201d and \u201cThe Triumph of the Crucified\u201d).\n2003 Revision of \u201cUongozi wa Kiroho\u201d (Spiritual leadership), by J. Oswald Sanders,\nfrom previous versions from Tanzania Evangelical Literature Ministry.\n2008 An important publication is \u201cWito wa Viongozi wa Kikristo,\u201d which is a book on\nleadership principles by John Stott \u201cCalling Christian Leaders\u201c as pointed out in 1 Corinthians\n1 \u2013 4.\n2010 The Childrens Colouring book \u201cBiblia ya Kupaka Rangi\u201d (Kid\u2019s Colouring Bible\nBook by Margitta Paul) was published in Hardcover and Softcover.\n2014 Publishing the apologetics book \u201cLulu za Biblia\u201d (Key Bible Concepts) for skeptics\nand people who want to know better what the Christian faith is all about. It also available as\nebook download in .pdf.\n2017 A series of 16 books \u201cMasomo Bunifu ya Biblia\u201d (Creative Bible Lessons), which\nis a Teaching curriculum over 8 years in 3 age groups 4-6 years, 7-9 years, 10-12 years. It\nemphasis thorough Bible teaching be repeating important Bible truths in 3 different ages\ngroups. This program goes along with visual aids and a training program for teachers.\n2019-2023 A 4 volumes \u201cUfafanuzi Hai wa Biblia kwa Maisha ya Kiroho\u201d\nCommentary for the New Testament. This is the translation of the huge one volume\n\u201cBelievers\u2019 Bible Commentary\u201d by William MacDonald.\n2022 relaunch of the website www.klb-publishers.or.tz as well as Instagram account\n@klb_publishers\n2023 A biography of a famous evangelist from Malawi \u201cKukimbia Nje ya Kivuli\nCheusi,\u201d (Out of the Black Shadows by Anne Coomes and Stephen Lungu).\n2023 Relaunch of the new Songbook with guitar chords in 3 different binding styles\n(spiral, hardcover, softcover) \u201cNyimbo za Wakristo\u201d.\n2025 The first volume of 4 of the Old Testament Commentary is published \u201cUfafanuzi\nHai wa Biblia kwa Maisha ya Kiroho - Isaya-Malaki.\u201d\n2025 Audiostories of the colouring book \u201cBiblia ya Kupaka Rangi\u201d OT and NT\navailable for free download.<\/p>\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t
