For nearly two decades, in my previous roles, I saw the importance of people having the Bible in their own language and for their own context.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve also seen that people need Christian books too\u2014to help them fully engage with their Bible.<\/p>\n

We want more people to have access to Christian books that they can understand well, so that churches in these communities can grow and mature. We have been talking with a Bible translation partner about how we could work together on this. Pray with us as we explore this further.<\/p>\n

Another part of our future is research. We\u2019re looking to find out our community\u2019s needs on an ongoing basis, what trends are happening, and what partnership looks like.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re also looking at collaboration overall and examining how Christian literature fits with missions.<\/p>\n

As I\u2019ve attended many large events with mission and ministry leaders, I\u2019ve heard a lot of discussion about discipleship and evangelism, and how it’s not the west to the rest\u2014it’s everyone to everywhere. We should see the same thing in Christian books.<\/p>\n

How we address this issue is something we\u2019ll need to do together. How do we help global markets be ready to buy Christian books? In the coming year, we\u2019ll be addressing some of these challenges together and sharing our knowledge with the global Church.<\/p>\n
