Dan Balow is director of publishing development and a non-fiction literary agent with The Steve Laube Agency<\/a>. He is also the president and publisher of Gilead Publishing<\/a>, which publishes Christian-themed fiction. Dan began in Christian publishing in 1983, and over the last 30 years he has been involved in the business side of the industry in marketing, sales, rights management, foreign sales, audiobooks, digital publishing, web management and acquisitions. Dan has developed a wide-ranging perspective through his involvement with hundreds of authors, thousands of books and a love for the business.<\/p>\n
