Heather became president and CEO of MAI in 2024 after more than 20 years\u2019 experience as an editor, journalist, and organizational communications leader. She has served as acting managing editor of Christian Daily International<\/em>, editorial director of the award-winning Evangelical Missions Quarterly<\/em>, founder of le Motif (a communications consultancy firm and ministry), director of a global missions photojournalism team, and as a mission agency communications director. Her work has taken her to more than 50 countries.<\/p>

Heather has been the co-editor of two anthology books, authored several articles, and her photographs have been published worldwide including in Christianity Today<\/em> and Charisma Magazine<\/em>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Ramon oversees MAI’s training programs to equip Christian publishers in underserved areas of the world. He joined the staff in MAI’s headquarters in 2012 with 15 years’ experience in Christian publishing and international training.<\/p>

As former CEO of OMF Literature, Inc, in the Philippines, Ramon led it to become the nation\u2019s largest Christian publishing house during his leadership from 1997 to 2008. He was the founding chair of MAI-Asia. Ramon volunteered for 12 years with MAI, offering training and consultation to publishing leaders and authors in 11 countries, including China, Burma, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia and others. He is the author of The Christian Publisher: Strong in the Storm<\/em>\u00a0and Profit & Purpose: A Global Publisher’s Guide for Financial Sustainability (4th edition).<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Trix <\/span>became Communications Manager of MAI in May 2025. She joined MAI in 2023.<\/span><\/p>

Books played a key role in Trix\u2019s faith journey. Two years at Australian Associated Press taught her about the business of writing and publishing. She has since held roles with mission organization OMF International, including over six years in writing, editing, magazine publishing, book editing and social media. She continues to write and edit for OMF.<\/span><\/p>

Trix has helped to edit and write mission books including a returning missionary\u2019s account of ministry amidst mental health struggles, a missionary kid\u2019s story of cross-cultural mission in East Asia, and a handbook on multicultural teams.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Mia supports the MAI team by handling administrative tasks, ensuring efficiency and organization in daily operations. She earned her degree from Cavite State University and pursued further studies at Philippine Christian University. Before MAI, Mia spent nine years working in a government agency in the Philippines, followed by a year working with international teams, where she gained valuable experience in administration and operations.<\/p>

Her career journey has allowed Mia to develop a strong foundation in administrative support, ensuring seamless workflows behind the scenes while she learns and adapts to new challenges.
