Since 1988, MAI has organized LittWorld, a global Christian publishing conference held every 2-3 years. LittWorld aims to equip and encourage Christian writers, editors and publishers who are working in challenging contexts.

2024 LittWorld: Publishing for Lasting Impact in Mexico, the first LittWorld in a Spanish-speaking country, at which the newly formed MAI - 拉丁美洲 Board was launched.

2022 LittWorld: Stronger Together: Publishing Hope Beyond Crisis in Hungary, with author Philip Yancey as keynote speaker.

2018 LittWorld: The Word Made Fresh in Singapore. 

2015 LittWorld: Reaching Your Reader in Singapore, the largest LittWorld to date. The keynote address was given by Andrew Goh of Singapore.

2012 LittWorld: Publishing for Global Impact in Kenya, at which the newly formed 非洲 MAI regional Board was launched.

2009 LittWorld: One in Word in Kenya. This increased accessibility to MAI’s training by Christian writers and publishers in Africa.

2006 LittWorld: World Congress of Christian Literature in Brazil, the first one in South America, with sessions conducted in Portuguese, Spanish and English. 

2004 LittWorld: Giving Voice to Vision in the Philippines. This created momentum for the creation of a new regional Board, MAI-Asia, in 2005.

2002 LittWorld: Bringing Words to Life in the Philippines. This increased accessibility to MAI’s training by Christian writers and publishers in Asia.

2000 LittWorld: 21st Century: Giving Readers Hope in the UK. The keynote address was given by Daniel Bourdanné of Cote d’Ivoire.

1998 LittWorld: Publishing Priorities in a Fragile World in the UK.

1996 LittWorld: Grasping Opportunities: Risking for Excellence in the UK. The keynote address was given by Evelyn Miranda-Feliciano of the Philippines.

1994 LittWorld: Discovering Talent:  Equipping for Service in the UK. This increased accessibility to MAI’s training by Christian publishers in Eastern and Central Europe.

1992 LittWorld: Communication Choices for Change at Wheaton College, Illinois USA. The keynote address was given by Frances Fuller.

1990 LittWorld: From Vision to Reality at Wheaton College, Illinois USA. The keynote address was given by William O’Brian of the Southern Baptist Convention.

1988 LittWorld: The Message and The Medium at Wheaton College, Illinois USA. The keynote address was given by Dr. Emilio Nuñez of Guatemala.
