How to Get Your Ideas to Stick: Building a Market for Your Book Before You Write It
Many writers assume the work begins when the book is written. In reality, successful ideas often gain traction long before publication. Explore how to use earned media (press, podcasts, guest articles) and owned media (newsletters, blogs, social platforms) to test ideas, build audience interest and shape public conversation before writing a book.
We’ll discuss how writers can introduce ideas into public discourse, refine them through feedback, and begin developing a market for their work before committing to a manuscript. This webinar will be helpful for both writers and publishers who want to identify, refine and amplify ideas with the potential to reach wider audiences.

Writing Prayers Based on Scripture
How might you write prayers based on the Bible? In this webinar with missionary and author Andy Smith, we’ll look at the spiritual exercise of writing prayers based on Bible passages as developed by Archbishop Thomas Cranmer. We’ll pray several such prayers and write a prayer together. You’ll also have the opportunity to write a few prayers of your own.

Powerful page-turning and dynamic novels are bathed in undeniable emotions. Emotions usher in sensory perception and gather word choices, symbols, body language, and various literary techniques to show a distinct character embracing a story world. The core of your story is the intimacy of a character internalizing and processing the world around them. This webinar will show you how to create emotions that are in character, show credibility and the various ways to invite your reader into the story.
