Christian Writers' Fellowship

I am a multi-genre author and mathematics teacher who dreams of someday writing Christian fiction and critically acclaimed bestsellers. Currently, I am serving as the new treasurer of the Christian Writers' Fellowship, a community of Christian writers in my beloved motherland, the Philippines. I hope to learn more from Christian author mentors in global communities with whom I can hone my craft in sharing the Gospel through creative writing. About my history as an author: 1.) My published books, "Her Best Friend’s Birthmark" and "My Girlfriend Is a Manananggal," tell of the daily realities of ordinary Filipino citizens through an extraordinary blend of magic, mystery, and romance. 2.) My poetry suite “Irrational and Other Math Poems” got published under Bente-Bente Zine Volume 3’s Panitikan ng Kababaihan zine anthology. 3.) My short story “The Debate at Yakal Library” won to be published in 8Letters Bookstore and Publishing’s Liwanag: "Mga Bagong Alamat #MitolohiyaPH Anthology," while my short story "The Mermaid's Choice" was published in SEA Lit Circle's "Pandan Weekly Zine Issue #2" online. 4.) Both "My Girlfriend Is a Manananggal" and "Liwanag" were Top 5 Books finalists in the inaugural Akdang Pinoy Choice Awards (APCA), a nationwide literary award, in 2025. 5.) "A Journey Through Eight Realms" by LitArt Publishing includes my short story “The Price of the Wishing Pendant.” The book placed fifth in the 2022 Filipino Readers’ Choice Awards (FRCA) Top 10 Books under the English Fiction Anthology (Batch 2) Category.
