Balázs Zágoni

Balázs Zágoni is an award-winning writer for children and young audiences, who has so far written 17 books. He lives with his family in Romania, but his mother-tongue is Hungarian. Some of his books have been translated in their entirety to Czech, and some excepts into English, German and Romanian languages. He is also an Associate Professor at the Hungarian Department of Cinema an Media, Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj, Romania, where he teaches creative writing, screenwriting and film history. A former MAI-Europe trustee, now he serves as a trainer for MAI writers trainings (So far he taught writers in Greece, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Montenegro and Romania). His vision is that Christian writers should be able to write literature of the finest quality, on any subject, while openly or subtly revealing some aspect of the kingdom of God.
