Pray for the spiritual and physical needs of the people of Colombia, particularly in light of a major earthquake in August 2026. Pray for wisdom and resources for churches to respond with Christ’s love.
Oct 11
Pray for growth, unity and deepening love for God and others within the Colombian Church. Pray for protection for Christian writers seeking to reach current and future generations with the gospel.
Oct 12
Pray that the conference results in an outpouring of excellent, locally authored and published Christian content that engages Spanish readers across generations in Latin America and beyond.
Oct 13
Praise God for the many friends who gave gifts towards scholarships and funding for the conference, enabling the participation of numerous attendees who otherwise could not attend.
Oct 14
For the Holy Spirit’s leading for speakers and workshop leaders as they prepare. May Christ be glorified and may all rely on Him, knowing that apart from Him they can do nothing (John 15:5).

Pray for God’s blessing on the nation of Colombia and its Christian communicators—including writers, publishers, editors and designers—through hosting this week-long conference.
Oct 16
Pray for any attendees who need visas to receive one in time. Pray for any hindrances that may prevent any attendees to be overcome, and for the Lord to prepare hearts to learn from Him.
Oct 17
For strength for the MAI-América Latina and Letra Viva teams in their final stretch of preparations; for a full team of local volunteers to help at the conference, and for joy in the Lord as they serve.
Oct 18
For wisdom and discernment for José Carlos Gutiérrez M. and Ian Darke in attending to the many last-minute details and leading their teams, particularly ahead of the registration deadline Oct 23.
Oct 19
For good working relationships with staff at the conference venue, De La Salle Casa de Encuentros in Rionegro; may each person will see Christ’s love in all their interactions with the conference teams.
Oct 20
For effective communication and collaboration between the teams at MAI-América Latina, Letra Viva and MAI global, particularly in marketing efforts prior to the registration deadline on Oct 23.
Oct 21
For the Lord’s provision of the needs of all He is calling to attend the conference. For finances, health and a strong conviction of the Holy Spirit’s leading. Pray for protection for participants across Latin America.
Oct 22
That technology functions well for optimum communication. Pray for the effective use and functioning of apps to register, connect with each other, and access conference materials.
Oct 23
For strength for the conference team as the registration deadline closes. Pray for the settling of final details related to conference registrations, travel schedules and other logistics.
Oct 24
That participants will develop encouraging and lasting friendships, particularly new friends from other countries. Pray for communication between participants that builds each other up in Christ.
Oct 25
Pray for each member of the conference teams to be shielded from ill health and know God’s strength as they see to final details; for good health and safe travels for all participants as they continue to prepare.

That participants carrying heavy burdens, discouragement or fear, or who may even be thinking about quitting their ministry, will be strengthened by the Lord and inspired to persevere.

That participants who face opposition and challenges will be refreshed and encouraged; for increased freedom and opportunities; for protection in places of war, unrest or persecution.

Give thanks for the the Lord’s faithfulness in bringing Letra Viva to 30 years of ministry in 2026. Pray for preparations around celebrating this milestone, and the special awards to be presented at the conference.

That the conference raises fresh awareness of the need to create engaging Christian content for emerging generations and the general public that make Spanish readers curious about Christ.

For safety for all travelling to the conference including attendees, plenary speakers, workshop and roundtable and panel facilitators, and volunteers involved in logistics and welcoming arrangements.

For good chemistry, new networks and friendships between participants that make the conference a launching pad for collaboration on projects and church growth across Latin America.

For wisdom for workshop leaders as they foster discussions and interactions, and listen to participants’ questions and needs. May timely advice and godly words of discernment be offered.

For energy, focus and vision for each attendee, and protection from distractions that may turn their eyes from God’s purposes for their attendance. May each grow in their delight for God and His purposes.

For openness and encouraging engagement between attendees during opportunities to pray, share and interact—such as devotions, roundtables, meals, group discussions and in the book room.
Nov 4
The Holy Spirit to foster a spirit of unity and purpose, and the timely sharing of ideas, views and experiences for the edification of all attendees. May God’s Word come alive in fresh and powerful ways.
Nov 5
As the week draws to a close, may each attendee make the most of every opportunity, and be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading in every conversation and interaction with others. May God be glorified in this.

For protection and opportunities to practice newfound skills and take steps forward in new partnerships as participants travel home. May each experience travelling mercies and abundant favor.

Continue to pray for the church in Colombia. May attendees begin the process of producing locally-
relevant and compelling resources that galvanize the church to share the good news of Jesus in its fullness.

That participants quickly practice fresh ideas or insights gained, and that God will open doors to new audiences who have not heard the gospel, preparing them to respond with lasting faith in Christ.
