My dream: entrepreneurial love

“What is your dream for the future of Christian publishing in your country?” Omoh Kelubia Nicholas of Nigeria responded to this prompt in the LittWorld writing contest.

In my dream of a Christian information system on June 15th, 2011, I saw Nigeria giving birth to entrepreneurial authors and publishers of love who are willing to spread information about the vision of God to as many people that have made the decision to stand for God.

I saw gospel writers pen down Holy Spirit inspired pieces of writings, that when adapted for film, redefine the famous Harry Potter series, showing the public that the power of the Most High supersedes all powers (Acts 8:9-24).

I saw Christian authors who can creatively tell the stories in the Bible in such a way that make the stories of comic books like The Avengers become less entertaining—authors who can turn the written word of God into a visual passion like play station games. “Let us make man in Our image after Our likeness” (Gen.1:26).

I saw books published online and offline that reveal the true way for financial independence, academic breakthrough, marital bliss and spiritual growth from the perspective of the written word. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof” (2 Tim. 3:16).

I saw social media networks as the most effective tool used for spreading the gospel of JESUS. I saw blogs and websites that have different themes of international issues and published authors who proffer solutions from the word of God. “Righteousness exalts a nation” (Prov. 14:34).

Finally, I saw Nigeria as the evangelist to the rest of the world. Where monthly spiritual devotionals by the chosen people of God are translated into every language on the face the earth. “Can any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip says to him, ‘Come and see'” (John 1:46).
