Conference preparations

Pray for God’s leading and wisdom (Psalm 127:1). For strength and wisdom for local chair José Carlos Gutiérrez and the Mexican host team as they handle on-site logistics for the conference; that God will bless the nation of Mexico and its Church and Christian communicators through hosting LittWorld 2024. 

Resource leaders

Pray that speakers and workshop leaders will provide fresh vision and skills to the 200 Christian publishers and writers from 40+ countries (2 Tim. 2:2). Pray for the Holy Spirit’s leading and inspiration as they prepare their talks and presentations.

Scholarships

Many Majority World participants will need conference and travel assistance to attend.  Pray for God’s provision of scholarship funds and His guidance in the selection of scholarship recipients (2 Cor. 9:11-12).

Travel to Mexico

That every participant needing a visa for Mexico will receive one.  Also pray for travel safety and good health for all expected participants.

Re-tooling and renewal

Pray that participants gain fresh vision and skills to better serve their readers; for clear communication and new friendships between Spanish and non-Spanish-speaking attendees.

Writing contest

Give thanks for scores of excellent submissions in the LittWorld 2024 writing contest in English and Spanish (Ecc. 12:10). Pray for the Lord to continue to grow each writer in Him and guide their next steps. 

Outcomes

Pray that God will use LittWorld 2024 to help raise up the next generation of global communicators to extend the gospel through the published word (Col. 4:3-4). Pray that the conference results in an outpouring of excellent, locally authored and published Christian content worldwide; that Christ will be glorified in all that is said and done.
