A gift for LittWorld 2024 scholarships is a priceless investment not only in the training of individual Christian publishers and writers, but in gospel ministry to the readers and nations they serve.

“LittWorld was a time of encouragement and insights,” said a Christian publisher from the Middle East after LittWorld 2022 in Hungary. “Just four months earlier I became director of a publishing house, and LittWorld was an opportunity to get wisdom from experts.”

He and other Christian publishers and writers from the Majority World were able to attend that conference thanks to scholarship gifts from friends like you.

Now, another LittWorld conference is on the horizon on November 3-8 in Puebla, Mexico. And we are seeking to raise $80,000 in scholarship gifts for gifted Christian communicators serving in countries offering little access to training and encouragement.

Scholarship application process

Each LittWorld 2024 scholarship candidate will complete a simple application and be thoroughly vetted by the MAI staff. Priority will be given to candidates who:

  • demonstrate a passion and commitment to the Lord and their nations through Christian publishing or writing
  • lack other funding sources
  • have not previously attended a LittWorld

Given the pressing need to raise up the next generation of Christian publishers and writers, we will also give preference to scholarship candidates under age 40.

To be considered for possible scholarship assistance for LittWorld, you will need to complete and return the scholarship application form. Contact MAI to request the form via email to [email protected].

Scholarship inclusions

Roughly $1,500USD is needed for each approved scholarship candidate. This includes $850USD for conference meals, lodging, breaks, materials and registration, plus an additional amount toward travel, the costs of which vary depending on the person’s distance from Mexico.

Impacting the nations with the gospel

A gift for LittWorld 2024 scholarships is a priceless investment not only in the training of individual Christian publishers and writers, but in gospel ministry to the readers and nations they serve.

“My life changed after the conference,” said a Bulgarian author and scholarship recipient after LittWorld in Hungary. “I started a publishing company and published my first book, which gives a Christian perspective. I visit schools and kindergartens to present the book and help children learn to read. [It is] a great opportunity to share my faith.”
