Cameroon National Prayer Breakfats
I am a Cameroonian scholar and musician, married, and holder of a PhD in Applied Linguistics with a specialization in African languages. My journey of faith began in July 2001, when I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal Savior after watching Jesus of Nazareth. Deeply touched by the love of Christ, I committed myself to following Him. That same year, I discovered a passion for music—particularly the drums—which I have continued to cultivate. I currently serve as the choir leader of CMFI-AC in Yaoundé (Zone 1). In 2010, I co-founded JOYBAND (Jesus’ Love is You Band), a ministry dedicated to praise, worship, and evangelism. Its vision is rooted in Psalm 96:1–4, with the guiding motto: “For a life transformed by the fruit of holy music.” Alongside music, I developed an interest in writing. I began with academic works, producing instructional manuals for reading and writing in Cameroonian languages. Later, during a linguistic field research project, I initiated the idea of transforming our field experiences into a collective narrative. Writing my own chapter revealed a deep passion for storytelling. Today i'm member of Cameroon National prayer Breakfast, in charge of formation for Cameroon Next elite Forum program. As the main leader of my church choir today, I am committed to guiding young people in understanding the centrality of God’s Word in the Christian life. In all our worship nights, I take joy in sharing the gospel message.
