Online African Writers Workshop

Apr 2026: MAI-Africa and Africa Upper Room Ministries are partnering to facilitate an online writers workshop for African writers this April. Join us for a four week course that aligns with Dr. Kirimi Barine’s “Idea to Book” programme. This holistic course is intended to give participants a solid foundation to plan and write a book.

  • Dr. Kirimi Barine – Global Publishing Development Coordinator for United Bible Societies and Founding Director of the Publishing Institute of Africa
  • Joan Campbell – MAI-Africa’s Communications Coordinator and author of seven books
  • Colleta Macharia – Certified Christian Leadership Coach, training facilitator and author
