Lekan Otufondurin is a passionate journalist and media career development specialist. He is the former managing editor of online and special publications with The Nation, Nigeria’s leading national daily newspaper. Lekan trains and mentors African writers through Journalists for Christ, which he founded. He serves as a trustee of MAI-Africa, secretary of the Africa Region of the World Association for Christian Communication (WACC) and fellow of the Bloomberg African Leadership Initiative Media Fellowship.
Jeins Duran is an avid blogger and trained screenwriter and theater director. He has dedicated more than 15 years of his life to the art of telling stories in literary, artistic and audiovisual formats. His plays include: The Guardian of the Forest (2012), Nativus (2017) and What Neighbors (2018). Jeins’ historical novel, CELDA 212, was published last year and translated into English under the tutelage of Troy Buder, executive producer of Disney’s The Queen of Katwe. He resides in Medellín, Colombia, with his wife and three children.
