LittAsia 2024: MAI-Asia’s first publishing conference to be held in Bangkok
MAI-Asia, a regional arm of Media Associates International, is pleased to announce that the LittAsia 2024 publishing conference will take place April 7-11, 2024, in Bangkok, Thailand. About 100 Christian publishing staff and writers from the Asia-Pacific region are expected to attend this first LittAsia.
The conference aims to bring together Christian publishers, writers and content creators from Asia and the Pacific to hear experts on key issues facing the region and to have roundtable conversations. It seeks to provide a platform to spark discussions on issues facing the Asia-Pacific today and encourage participants to generate content to address these issues.
Some 15 publishing professionals will lead plenary sessions, table discussions, workshops and devotionals; and be available for one-on-one consultations. The program will include time for interaction and networking with regional colleagues.
“We hope that, as Christian writers and publishers, we can provide words of hope in these troubled times as we write on issues relevant in the marketplace for our Asia-Pacific audience,” said Bernice Lee, MAI-Asia Chairperson.
LittAsia 2024’s venue will be at Asia Hotel, which is ideally situated in Bangkok’s colorful shopping, business and entertainment center. The hotel is 32 km from Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
Organized by the MAI-Asia Board of Trustees, LittAsia is a regional conference for Asian Christian publishing and writers. Later next year MAI’s global office will hold the LittWorld 2024 international publishing conference, November 3-8 in Mexico for Christian publishing professionals from all the world regions.
